Our clients owned a large bungalow with extensive grounds just outside Perranporth and approached us to design and build their ‘forever’ home. Funded by selling the original property whilst splitting the title deed, we were commissioned to design, gain planning consent and construct a contemporary, highly energy efficient unit for their retirement. Key considerations were low running costs, low maintenance requirements and thoughtful future proofing features.
With careful consideration and liaison with the client, we took through planning a stylish, low maintenance contemporary bungalow design which occupied a good proportion of the new plot, in conjunction with proposed hard landscaping and modest planted/lawn areas.
